Fire Station under construction
Work on Sunnyvale Fire Department's Station #1 has officially begun! A construction trailer, a crane, and a boring machine are scheduled to be delivered for the drilling of the piers for the foundation.

Recycle cart deliveries delayed
Republic Services has notified the Town that they are currently experiencing delays in recycle cart deliveries. They are hoping to be caught up by mid-next week. In the mean time, residents who are waiting for a cart may place their recyclables in a cardboard box at the curb on their scheduled recycle day and the drivers will collect it.
Public Hearing
A public hearing will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 19 to consider and make a recommendation upon a request to approve a residential replat creating a total of six lots with a subdivision waiver for a flag lot. For more information, please visit Townofsunnyvale.org/CurrentDevelopments.

Sunnyvale Police Department joined the Library for a special story time on Wednesday, Jan. 12. Officer Hughes (pictured below) read a book, then the children got a chance to ask questions and sit in a patrol car.
