It’s been a year since COVID-19 rearranged the 2019-20 school year and everything came to a halt.

The Garfield Re-2 School District took a moment to reflect on all of the things that we have been able to accomplish despite the continually changing COVID-19 landscape and the impacts of the virus on our families and our staff all in addition to the everyday events that impact our lives.

Thank you Garfield Re-2 staff, families and students for making all of this possible in a most unprecedented 12 months!

Garfield Re-2 celebrations:

July 18 - CRHS graduation with spectators

July 25 - RHS graduation with spectators

June 8 - Open gyms begin

Aug. 3 - Back to school for teachers

THANKS for the feedback!

In the feedback from last week's newsletter, someone asked if we could share the cases that have occurred in Garfield Re-2 School District.

Well, we are glad you asked. Since October, we have had a COVID-19 dashboard on our website where the daily stats are kept.

You can see our dashboard here.

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is no longer using Curative testing and has switched to Mako testing due to concerns about the accuracy of Curative tests. Curative tests may have shown false negative results.
