First trimester of mother
First Trimester of mother-
(week 1- week 12) During this period the breasts will start to change, become bigger, and tender as hormones change. This occurs because the breasts prepare for breastfeeding. Some symptoms are nausea and vomiting at any time of the day, lasting 8-12 weeks. Some women experience headaches. A dark line may occur from you naval downward. Increased freuqency of urination due to pressure on the bladder.

By eight weeks the fetus contains all organs including the heart that is pumping. By twelve weeks the babys sex can be identified. Fingernails and toenails are formed. The babys teeth are formed in the gums. The babys movements are small and cannot be felt by the mother. By the end of the first trimester the baby is apprxt. 9cm or 3.5in, and weighs 15 grams or 0.5oz.

Second trimester of mother-
The uterus has risen in the abdomen decreasing pressure on the bladder. The mother may or may not feel the babys movement by now. The mother may have back pains, constipation, varicose veins, or swelling in the ankles, feet, hands and face. This is called the "golden period". Your most likely to experience a decrease in the symptoms if any occur. You could also experience the babys movement between 16 and 20 weeks.

Third trimester of mother
symptoms of this stage are shortness of breath, sleeping problems and hemorrhoids. Your uterus expands from approximately 2 ounces before pregnancy and 25 pounds by birth.Irregular and painless contractions may occur. Durring this trimester some symptoms are shortness of breath, sleeping problems, and heartburn. Breathing may improve due to the uterus setting on the pelvis which may cause frequent urination.
