- This week's spelling focus is compound words. Please study nightly with your child. The test will be on Friday. Your child may like to use Spelling City to practice their words. Follow the link below and use Amber Fleck's name to find the word lists.
Grammar/Writing:
- We are continuing work with irregular verbs...these have proven to be quite difficult for some kiddos, so we will spend a few more days working with them.

In writing, we continue to focus on informative writing.
Watch for a new POW to come home on Friday this week. The POW will be due next Friday.

Kindness Challenge
This year, students at Ireland Elementary will be completing the Kindness Challenge again. We did this challenge a few years ago, and I am positive we can all complete the challenges this year! This week's challenge is...
Read a book with a younger sibling, cousin, or friend.
At the end of each week, students who have completed the Kindness Challenge for that week will get to put a sticker up for that act. Kindness is free...sprinkle that stuff everywhere!
