This week...
We had a great apple themed week! We learned all about Johnny Appleseed, we did some apple math and we made some delicious apple dumplings! We also celebrated International Dot Day which began with a book called The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds which celebrates creativity and originality. Look for your child's creation they made with dot stickers.

And also....
Please remember to send in money for our upcoming trip to Legoland at Grapevine Mills Mall on October 25th. Please send $12 cash only for your child and $10 more if you would like to be a chaperone. The money is due by this Tuesday.
The book fair is this week. We will go Monday to preview books. Your child will come home with a wish list. You may send money with your child for the book or books you'd like them to purchase, and I will allow them to go to the book fair during the day. Or you can visit the book fair with your child (book fair is open before and after school). Children are not allowed into the book fair alone, before or after school.
I am always in need of more warm fuzzies (We have so much great behavior in 1C!). I also appreciate donations of happy meal type toys (new or slightly used) for our treasure box.
Happy Friday!
Bonnie
