Beethoven's early Life
Beethoven was born on December 17, 1770 in Bonn, Germany. He had a very rough childhood, he was born into a large family. He had six other siblings, but only three of them survived to become adults. When he was seventeen, his mother passed away, shortly after his infant sister also died. When his father lost his job, he had to help provide for his family by composing and preforming music.

Beethoven was born in Bonn, Germany in 1770. Around 1792, after his father's death he went back to Vienna for good. He started to lose his hearing at the age of twenty-eight, he tried every possible treatment he could, but none of them worked for him. In the last ten years of his life he completely lost his hearing. On March 26, 1827 Beethoven died at the age of fifty-seven.

The music shown above is one out of pieces of music Beethoven wrote in his life. He wrote nine symphonies in total, the symphony as shown above is the fifth symphony he wrote. The third symphony he wrote is called "Eroica" which means heroic. He dedicated the symphony to Napoleon Bonaparte because Beethoven believed that Napoleon was noble and glorious. Later, when Napoleon crowned himself king, Beethoven changed the dedicatory page to "Sinfonia Eroica, Composed to celebrate the memory of a great man."

Beethoven's Legacy
Beethoven was a great musician who wrote many wonderful pieces of music throughout his life. He kept trying different way to continue to compose even when he was deaf. Despite his anger, he gave the world many fantastic pieces of music. Today, some of his most famous music include the symphonies. Beethoven was an amazing musician who managed to write many pieces of music in his life.
