Tim Burners Lee
Tim Berners Lee is a British computer scientist, and the inventer of the world wide web. In March 1989, he made a proposal for an information management system. On December the 25th in 1990, he had his first succssful communication between a Hypertext Transfer Protocol via the internet.
Tim Berners-Lee grew up in London, and was one of 4 childeren, and attended Sheen Mount Primary School and then went on to attend Emanuel School from 1969 to 1973. His parents worked on the first commercially-built computer- the Ferranti Mark 1. Tim Berners Lee was a keen trainspotter as a child, and he learned about electronics from tinkering with a model railway. He studied at Queens Collage from 1973 to 1976, where he recieved a first class in physics.
In June 2009 Gorden brown announced that Tim Berners-Lee would work with the gourvenment to help to make the data on the world wide web more acessable.
