Can A Seatbelt Save Your Life?
By: Kristin Jimenez
Newtons Fist Law
Newtons first law says a object in motion tends to say in motion, and a object at reast tends to stay in rest, unless it was acted on by an unblanced force.
How Can This Save You?
Newton said that something in motion stays in motion right? Well if a car is going 80 miles per hour so are you! This means that if the car was to stop then you would keep on going, and you know that the only way to stop a force is for it to be stoped by an unbalanced force so thats why seatbelts stop you. If you were not wearing one then you would probably fly out the windo unless the air bag stops you first.
