Reminder - Save the Date: The Tweets

Be on the lookout in Cardinal Notes for information in the next month on The Tweets, our original awards ceremony for locally produced films in the style of the Oscars. In addition to screening some of our student-produced original works, we will also be celebrating Best Foreign Film, an original movie submitted from another school. This highly original celebration of Case High culture is presented by teacher Tommy Whalen and the New Media Club. Please consider joining us on Wednesday, April 12 at 7 p.m.

Term III extension for seniors

Given the four snow days thus far this year, Term III for seniors has been extended to Tuesday, April 4. Report cards for all grades will be published on Thursday, April 13 at the close of the school day.

Another update: Last Day of School revised (again!)

A gentle reminder that when winter weather arrives, the final day of school becomes a moving target. Because of recent snow day on March 14, the last day of school is Tuesday, June 20.

Please be careful in making June vacation plans given the volatility of March weather.

And finally: MCAS ELA

Sophomore students will take their English Language Arts (ELA) MCAS next week (March 21-23). After today's organizational meeting with the Class of 2019, Case families can reiterate to their students the need to be in school ON TIME during these testing days. Cell phones are not allowed in the testing areas. Students are strongly urged to keep them in their lockers during the scope of the three-day exam. The ELA MCAS consists of a one-day Composition session, followed by a two-day Reading Comprehension assessment.
