Weekly Updates for Jan 18 - 22
Message from the Principal
Good afternoon Jags!
Hopefully everyone enjoyed their student/staff holiday as we recognized Martin Luther King Jr. Day. It is week 3 of the 3rd nine weeks and everyone has a chance get started with excellent attendance and grades, whether in-person or virtually.
There are a lot of events taking place in our extra-curricular groups! Please read below about all of the accomplishments taking place outside of the classroom! Students, if you have a question about your schedule for the 2nd semester, please email or fill out a 'Counselor Referral' form in the counseling office and your counselor will contact you as soon as they can.
Sincerely,
Gary Comalander - Principal

January Teachers of the Month
Congrats to the CTJ January Teachers of the Month, Mrs. Ruth Kimmell and Mr. LaRhon Fields! Mrs. Kimmell is in our Social Studies dept and teaches World Geography. She assists with so many things outside of her regular duties, and we can’t thank her enough! She teaches a homebound student, helps run Saturday School here on campus to help students regain credit, and she also works with students on Achieve for all students attempting to receive initial credit for courses to meet graduation requirements! Mr. Fields, a member of the Career Tech dept, has been a great help in Career Tech working hard on developing all the marketing materials and class layouts for the Johnson Business Academy. He strives to make connections with his students on a daily basis. ! Thank you both!
