Week of April 26, 2021
Updates from Mrs. Murphy and Mr. Ajamian
Last week was Administrative Professionals Week. We are so thankful for Mrs. Burns and Ms. Inzelstein. They both work hard to go above and beyond for our students, staff and parents both at school and virtually!
The week of May 3rd is Staff Appreciation Week. We are extremely lucky to have such a committed and knowledgeable staff working with our children. We are very thankful for all the ways you make us feel appreciated throughout the year.
Student Portraits and Yearbook Update
Work has also begun on the 2020-2021 Yearbook! Please keep an eye out for emails that will prompt you to submit photos from various times of the year. A link to purchase your copy will be in the next Paw Print.
COVID-19 Pool Testing
COVID-19 testing takes place every Monday at Seven Locks. In order for a class to be tested, we must have at least 5 students opt-in for testing. It is not too late to opt-in. For additional information (and the consent form if you didn't get a hard copy) please click here. Signed consent forms must be returned to the classroom teacher.
WILL YOUR CHILD BE ATTENDING SEVEN LOCKS IN THE FALL?
Believe it or not, we are starting to plan for the 2021-2022 school year! Please complete the online student information form to let us know your plans for your child(ren) for the 2021-2022 school year. There is space on the form to tell us about your child's Areas of Strength and Areas of Need. Your responses on this form will be shared with next year’s teacher. WE DO NOT HONOR INDIVIDUAL TEACHER REQUESTS. Please complete by May 14th.
Kindergarten 2021-2022
Children who will be 5-years-old by September 1, 2021 are eligible to attend Kindergarten for the 2021-2022 school year. Due to current social distancing requirements we will not have traditional Kindergarten Orientation this spring and registration will be completed online. Please click here to begin the registration process.
Please email Mrs. Burns (Jane_H_Burns@mcpsmd.org) and Ms. Inzelstein (Jennifer_Inzelstein@mcpsmd.org) with any questions.
We hope to have an incoming Kindergarten parent meeting in late spring and Orientation in August. Please notify friends and neighbors of our new registration process as well. Our teacher allocations are based on the number of students enrolled. We don't want to miss anyone!
