How to request a transcript from XELLO

Applying to College

  • Apply to at least a fall back school, perfect match, and stretch school


  • Apply online at institution of choice by deadline; pay attention to deadlines and write them in your planner, phone, or outlook calendar! (Typically Nov/Dec for automatic scholarships and priority housing)


  • Application fee: Expect $35-$50; some colleges accept fee waivers. See your counselor if you qualify for a fee waiver


  • Send Official Transcript: Request via Xello CLICK HERE or Login through Portal


  • Send Official ACT: Send via www.actstudent.org account. *Remember to send ACT scores for free when you register for ACT, or you will have to pay $16.00 per test date per report


  • Send MCC Dual Credit Transcript: via Maple Woods account: CLICK HERE


  • Send AP Scores: via Collegeboard account: CLICK HERE


  • Reminder: A final transcript will also need to be requested in May

Paying For College: FAFSA


  • Attend FAFSA informational Night: September 28, 2022 5:00 PM; Location TBD


  • Parents & students complete a FSA ID prior to starting the FAFSA: CLICK HERE

  • Ask for letters of recommendation at least 2-3 weeks in advance when possible


  • Complete resume (Honors/Activities/Awards): Xello provides template


  • Student Questionnaire Please fill this out. It helps us write a much better letter of recommendation for you.


  • Essay- Start preparing personal essays for scholarships


  • Complete A+ requirements

MILITARY

  • Meet with a recruiter from the branch of military you would like


  • Take the ASVAB test- contact your recruiter to coordinate the test

STUDENT-ATHLETE

  • Register for the NCAA Eligibility Center if you haven't already CLICK HERE


  • Register for the NAIA Eligibility Center if you haven't already CLICK HERE


  • Request HS transcript to be sent to NCAA and/or NAIA via XELLO
