Week 4 of At Home Learning
This past week we started our weekly Zoom-in meetings. This was not without a few hiccups, but we hope to have ironed out some of the issues that plagued us last week. I would like to apologize again for the meetings that were canceled due to my systems being down. Be on the look out for possibly new info for the meetings as I may have a new account, so stay tuned. Also we will have a shout-out message board if any of your kids would like to send a message to any student, teacher, or staff. We will post new messages weekly in the newsletter!
As you all are trucking along into another week of this At-Home Learning, please be sure to give yourselves brain breaks along with time to get outside if you can and exercise or play. It is important to stay physically fit as it is known to decrease stress levels. Unplug from all the news and TV binge watching and do something for your bodies!
As always, when we get updates on a possible return, we will pass that information along to you. Hope all of you and your families are doing well.
I would like to give a major shout out to Shane N. and Rocco T.! These two students are doing a phenomenal job completing quality work along with having almost absolutely zero behavioral issues. Keep up the outstanding work gentlemen! We all are very proud of you.

ham ISD (all campuses), but because we can’t meet in person, we’re going to take submissions of anything entertaining for a chance to win gift cards to local businesses and restaurants. We’re looking for dancing, singing, magic tricks, jokes, poetry, acting, gymnastics, anything interesting and entertaining!!!! The videos can be 20 seconds long or much longer. We’re going to post them on the BHS and LHR Choirs Facebook pages and get the public involved in watching and rooting for you. How do you win the gift cards? All you have to do is submit a video of yourself and your skill/talent that is school-appropriate and entertaining to watch to get in the drawing. The more submissions we get, the more gift cards you can win. There can only be one submission per person, so let your creative juices fly. The sky’s the limit! The cut-off for submissions will be Friday, May 1, 2020 at 1PM. We look forward to seeing these talents, these fun videos that show your skills, you joys! As always, email anna.waller@bonhamisd.org for questions or call/text at 314-635-0858. Email submissions to anna.waller@bonhamisd.org. Have fun!
