The start of Delaware
Delaware was founded back in 1638, by Swedish settlers lead by Peter Minuit. They settled around the Delaware Bay. It was considered a part of the middle region.
Economic Resources and Reasons behind it all
Sweden originally settled in Delaware for trade and profits. They thrived on agriculture, trade and natural resources. Many had jobs building ships, trading, working with iron, fishing, or working in the lumber and timber industries.
What type of Climate and Geography does Delaware have?
Almost all of Delaware is on the water. Two-thirds of the coast in Delaware is covered in water. In the winters it doesn't get very cold, only getting below 74 degrees. In the summers its fairly hot, over 80 degrees.
