KINGDOM BUILDER SCHOLARSHIPS
Legacy Christian is blessed with many wonderful supporters who often find very innovative ways to contribute to our school. A prime example of “innovative ways to support Legacy’s mission” is our 8th grade scholarship.
Quite a few years ago a pair of generous anonymous supporters (husband and wife) established two 8th grade scholarships here at Legacy Christian. Each scholarship is for $500 and is applied directly to the student’s tuition account. The award is meant to be an honor and recognition of “doing the right things”. It is awarded to two students (one boy and one girl) who show by their lives and actions that they are respectful, compassionate and trustworthy. Scholarship winners also clearly display their commitment to Jesus Christ. In short, they are recognized for living their lives as “Christ-Followers and Kingdom-Builders”.
Each year west campus faculty and staff are given the opportunity to suggest 7th graders for consideration. Those suggestions become names on a ballot and the staff and faculty are then encouraged to vote for the award recipients. Generally the suggestions are numerous and the ballot is long. This year was no exception! We are very proud of our entire 7th grade!
The 2019-2020 8th grade Kingdom Builder Scholarship recipients are Ellia Agar (Jason and Tammi) and Nick Logan (Brett and Lynne). Congratulations, Ellia and Nick! We are pleased to recognize each of you and know you will join your classmates in making 2019-2020 a fantastic year at Legacy Christian.

All incoming Kindergarten, Young 5's and Preschool parents for 2019-20, please remember to have a green health form filled out over the summer with your doctor’s stamp or signature on it. There was a form included in your enrollment packet. A new form is required every year for the “early childhood” classes. PLEASE NOTE—If your child has an immunization waiver you will need to make an appointment with the Kent County Health Department. We can no longer supply necessary paperwork out of the school office. All health forms will need to be turned in to the school office before your student can begin classes in the fall. School starts on Aug. 26, 2019.
