A Look Back on September

Grade Level Assemblies Update

We started off the new school year with grade level assemblies that focused on our Core Values and Behavioral Expectations. As a school, we are in the process of developing school wide expectations for learning and how we treat each other. Each grade level got a chance to add to the list as well as the staff and our Student Council will go through the information and disseminate it. Looking forward to see what the students come up with!

Parent Academies

On September 19th, I held my first Parent Academy. I focused on sharing with parents our Core Values, Expectations for the year, as well as behavioral trends in the classroom from last year, including information on Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying. I also shared out our District's Student Code of Conduct which can be found here. I shared our Positive Incentive's as well including Rambucks, House Cup, and Fun Friday Events. You can find a recording of that presentation here. Thank you to all that attended! Be on the lookout for our next Parent Academy coming soon in October.

Thank you to all who attended Back to School Night. I'm glad you were able to make it in and meet your child(s) teachers as well as walk there schedule. If you were not able to attend, click here for the intro video that contains information on new staff and our Core Values.

Frost Valley

Our trip to Frost Valley was a huge success! Our 6th Grade students did an amazing job building community and team work. Thank you to all of our staff and parents that helped out on the trip! A special shout out to Ms. Hooker for organizing the whole trip! We had a blast! Pictures will be shared out soon, but here are a few to look at until then!
