Inspirit AI, is a pre-college artificial intelligence program developed and taught by a team of Stanford PhD students. Artificial intelligence is the defining technology of our times, powering radical innovation across healthcare, education, transportation and more. We hope to prepare students of all disciplines for an AI-powered future. AI Scholars Live Online exposes high school students to fundamental AI concepts and guides them to build a socially impactful AI project where they apply math to real world problems through machine learning. Students attend live online classes where we teach them the mathematical principles behind AI algorithms in small groups with a student-teacher ratio of 4:1. Check out the brochure open to students in grades 9-12. Students of all levels may apply here for our winter break program by October 31st.

Mattapoisett Lions Club Speech Competition: The Youth Speech Competition provides an opportunity for students in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 to speak publicly and freely on a designated topic of general interest. In between there are zone, region, and district levels of competitions where the winner of each level has the opportunity to proceed to the next level. If you are interested in this competition, please email Mrs. Bertrand, Guidance Office Secretary, at kellybertrand@oldrochester.org by October 30th.
