The Mattapoisett Library is in need of help on their Teen Advisory board. Join us once a month to plan out events for middle and high schoolers at the library! The board offers tons of volunteer opportunities and amazing connections. If you’re interested, reach out to mskaar@sailsinc.org

Employment Opportunity - Fieldstone Farm Market in Marion is hiring stock people to stock produce and grocery items in the store and help unload deliveries. They are looking for someone who can work around 20 hours a week (about 4 days). Inquire at the store if interested.
Summer Job Opportunity with the Marion Natural History Museum
The Marion Natural History Museum is looking for a part-time lead educator and a part-time education assistant for their Coastal Explorations summer programs. Familiarity with the natural world is a big plus, and the positions are well suited for those who are interested in education or science related fields. The programs are for grades 3-6 and run from 9-12, Monday-Friday, and there are 2 one or two-week sessions. If interested in either position, please submit a resume and cover letter to the museum director at Director@marionmuseum.org.
Water Wizz is now hiring for summer 2023
Various positions available for kids ages 14+ including lifeguards(15+), ride attendants, food service positions, parking lot attendants. Lifeguard certification and First Aid, CPR and AED training free of cost. Guidance Department Announcements
Term 3 ends on March 30, 2023
The deadline to make-up Incomplete Grades for Term 3 is Thursday, April 13, 2023. Handbook language (page 21) is as follows: INCOMPLETE GRADES
• Students have two weeks from the day grades close to make up any Incomplete Grades issued by teachers, including 4th term and the summer.
• All work not completed within the specified period will be given no credit and averaged with the completed work to determine a grade.
• The responsibility for completing this work within the required time rests solely with the student. • In the case of extenuating circumstances, any extension of this policy must be arranged with the Principal before the end of the two-week time period.

Attention Juniors - Please start scheduling your individual Junior Meetings with your guidance counselor. You may do so by emailing Mrs. Bichsel, the guidance secretary.
Attention Seniors: Don’t forget to bring in your college acceptance letters to your guidance counselor. It does not need to be the original - can be a copy, screenshot, email, etc.
Local scholarship award letters are due to the guidance office by Wednesday, May 25th. Please submit a copy or email your award notification(s) to your guidance counselor by the deadline if you would like to be recognized on the scholarship recipients list. (This list is for local scholarship awards only, not college/university scholarship awards.)
Attention Advanced Placement Students: AP Exam balances are due April 12. Payments can be made in the guidance office by either cash or check (made payable to ORRHS). Contact Heather Bichsel if you need to know the balance owed. heatherbichsel@oldrochester.org
