Great things have been happening in the CCC!
We have been busy throughout the month of October. We started the month of October celebrating the Class of 2023 with Senior week! PSAT testing was on October 12th for 9th through 11th grades and I was able to take a group of seniors to UIC for the day. Pictures of both events are posted below.
Financial Aid Workshop was in the evening on October 19th. We had a great turnout for the event. If you missed it we will be holding some FAFSA office hours on November 3rd and 17th.

Need a work permit?
Students under the age of 16 are required by the Illinois Department of Labor to have a work permit. If you have been hired, your employer will provide you with a letter of intent to employ at your request. You will need the letter, your social security card, birth certificate and you will also need a current physical on file in order to be issued a work permit. Bring these items to Mrs. Carol Rodriguez in the Main Office. See her with any questions.

Junior Registration Meetings
Juniors will be starting the process to register for their 2022-23 courses in November. Counselors will be in TEAM rooms the week of October 31st reviewing course selections. As of October 31st, all Junior students will have access to their Skyward account to choose their own classes. Skyward will be available to students through Nov. 8th. Starting November 9th, counselors will be meeting with Junior students individually to discuss course options and finalize their choices. This is a great opportunity for students to discuss post high school plans with counselors.
