There are at-least 1600 wildlife bears.
It goes into Tennessee and North Carolina.
It is the most visited place in the United States.
The Great Smoky Mountains are known as "Salamander" capital of the world.
In 1983 Great Smoky Mountains national park was designed as a UNESCO world heritage site.
July is the most visited month in Great Smoky Mountains national park with 1,2 million visitors.
Cling-mans Dome is the highest point of Great Smoky Mountains its 6,643 feet.
