🤒🌡NOTE FROM THE NURSE🤒🌡

As we see a rise of Influenza cases in the community, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says to Take 3 approaches to fight the flu:

1. Get the flu vaccine every year

2. Take everyday preventative actions to stop the spread of germs:

· Wash hands often with soap and water, or use alcohol-based hand sanitizers when soap and water are not available,

· Cover coughs with a disposable tissue or cough into their sleeve,

· Avoid touching their eyes, nose, and mouth,

· Avoid close contact with sick individuals,

· Avoid sharing cups and eating utensils, and

· Stay home when sick.

3. Take flu antiviral drugs if your healthcare provider prescribes them

❄Just For Fun❄

❄Colorful Coffee Filter Snowflakes❄

My daughter LOVES to make snowflakes. I found this super colorful and fun way to step it up a bit from just paper and scissors. This will be a great snowy day craft for all my kids and yours, too!

You can watch the video how to make them below or click on the link for step by step instructions.

😋Delicious Dinner Idea🍽

https://www.theslowroasteditalian.com/one-pan-honey-garlic-chicken-and-veggies/

One-Pan Honey Garlic Chicken & Veggies

This recipe has been kid tested (ages 7, 12, 16) and approved. I love a one-pan dinner on those nights that you just don't feel like a 4 course meal. I also added some sliced onions and peppers, and water chestnuts. They didn't care for the snow peas, but that just meant more for me and the husband instead. And of course, don't forget the side of rice!

This is also a great meal for those of you who like to meal prep your lunches:)

*Time Saver Tip: Buy your carrots and broccoli already sliced/cut up if you'd like. That way, all you have to do is open and dump (instead of slicing...esp the carrots).
