Professional Times Newsletter
Professional Learning Center & GTA Collaboration
Welcome to the Summer Newsletter of the Professional Times!
Thank you Holly Stettner! Welcome Kara Manjerovic!
While I am really excited for the opportunities that await me in retirement, it is with sadness I must say goodbye. I have been active in GTA for the past 25 years and have been on the Executive Council for the past 20 years. Part of my job has been working with Marguerite Dimgba on all things professional learning, including this newsletter. I have enjoyed working with teachers and advocating for quality professional development. I will cherish the many experiences I have had the opportunity to be a part of locally, nationally and abroad. I am grateful for the opportunity to work and learn from you.
I am pleased to announce my replacement, Kara Manjerovic as the new Greece Teachers Association Vice President of Educational Programs beginning July 1, 2021. Kara currently teaches 2nd grade at Autumn Lane. She is currently active in building leadership and has been actively working with the Social Studies department, assisting in the development of updated modules. Kara has been the building representative for 10 years and is most ready to transition into GTA leadership. Welcome Kara!
