NS4ed Leadership Coach Initial Consult
WHY:
The purpose of this tool is to guide reflection on your current practices and strategically plan the next steps aligned to NS4Ed Early College Implementation Model Criterion in the tool are based on best practices and current Early College Principles.
WHAT:
This tool is for organizational self-assessment and strategic planning along a continuum of innovation under NS4Ed Coaching. It is divided into three over-arching components of our model: Leadership, Shared Vision, and Innovative Personalized Career Pathways. The fourth component, Continuous Improvement, is embedded within the other three components.
WHO:
Organizational leaders, who are facilitating second-order change, determining the current practice/status of the organization.
HOW:
This tool will be used to assist in generating a personalized pathway for the coaching experience you will receive from NS4ed that best identifies aspects of the organization that is developmental, and sets goals for the next steps of implementing a combination of sub-components in tandem. We will take notes to avoid a linear/sequential progression of implementation.
WHEN:
Each district will have the choice to determine its coaching pathway. It will begin once the data is collected from our initial consult. It is recommended to use this tool to monitor and celebrate the progress made and assist in strategic planning through possible revisions of goals, action plans, and key performance indicators at consistent, cyclical times throughout the year (ie. bi-annual, quarterly).

Individualized Coaching Support Survey
Please take this survey when you have 10 minutes to give your full attention and answer honestly. The survey can be completed by one team member or group. This survey is to be completed by Friday, October 7, 2022.
Your District's Personalized Pathway
Once your survey is complete I will reach out to you to schedule a time to meet with each district to support you in creating your monthly coaching pathway using the menu of choices above. Please do not hesitate to call, email, or even text me if you have any questions.
Incubator Grant Considering Early College Designation
Working as a team, read through the Reflection Instrument or DESE Readiness Checklist (found on page 19 of the MA DOE Application Companion Document) to gain an idea of the information that is required for the program data metrics, school successes and their measurement, areas of opportunity, and priority placement of the areas of opportunity. This document should be taken into consideration when applying for Early College Designation.
