Description

China has many mountains and rivers just like the Middle Earth is described as in the text. The company climbs the Misty Mountains once they leave the homely home. On their way to the homely home they saw a river.
Link to China's Website

This is the most accurate one that I could find because it has .gov as the domain, I am not sure if it is directly from China but it is the best one that I could find

Counter Claim

How could the Middle Earth be in New Zealand? New Zealand definitely does not fit the description of J.R.R.Tolkien's writing, but China on the other hand does. China has rivers in caves just like the Bilbo and Gollum scene in the cave with a river going through it. The mountains in China also fit the description of J.R.R. Tolkien's writing almost perfectly. So there you have it New Zealand definitely does not compare to China as being the Middle Earth and China is Middle Earth.

Conclusion

In conclusion, China is the Middle Earth. This is because of its mountains, its many rivers, and its river caves. It shows resemblance to J.R.R. Tolkien's description of the Middle Earth and looks more like the description of the Middle Earth than countries that I have compared it to. China is the Middle Earth.

Additional Information

Mt. Everest is the tallest mountain in the world at a height of 29,029 feet tall.

China has many rivers and mountains.

Most of China's citizens live in Eastern China because of the mountains and less rainfall in Western China. Since Western China has few people it could be where Bilbo traveled to because there were no houses for most of the way until he got to the trolls house.
