FRIENDSHIP PARTY!

Our annual Valentine's party will take place in the classroom on February 12th. The students will be allowed to decorate a shoebox and bring it in on Friday, February 12th. If students would like to pass out Valentines candy, they need to make sure to have one for every student in their homeroom class. Please check with your child's homeroom teacher to get a final count for their homeroom!

Snack time During the Party!

-The students will be having popcorn and M&Ms. How fun!

-For children with nut allergies: there will be Rice Krispie treats and Pirate's Booty avaliable for them.

Reminder: there are no volunteers or visitors for this party!

A Note From Mrs. Caplinger:

TARDIES & LOST & FOUND

Due to the excess of tardies, we want to remind you that you are welcome to use both carpool lanes in the morning. We recommend dropping off before 7:30 A.M. and our gym doors open at 7:00. Remember three tardies equal one absence. Accumulating 10 tardies throughout the school year can lead to truancy court.

We have a lot of items in our school's lost and found. Please put your child's name on coats, jackets & sweaters so that they can be returned if lost.

CEREAL BOX HEROES

The students will be completing a 3-week long homework assignment about their favorite hero. Each student will choose a hero to research about and create, decorate and present a cereal box portraying that hero's qualities. (see expectation handout for more information).

The final project will be due February 26th!
