Castle Rock Communiqué

We Love Our Knights!

February 26, 2021 (Week twenty-seven)

Happy Friday, Castle Rock Families!

I hope our students and families adjusted well to to the five-day school week.

One of the highlights of my week was getting to read aloud to our Kindergarten students and some of our First Grade students. Even over Zoom, with student microphones muted, I could feel the laughter and positive energy through the screen!

Please check out (after checking report card grades, of course!) the Literacy Week, Read Across America, flyer below. A team of dedicated teachers worked hard to come up with unique ways for students to engage in literacy with their family members. So next week, I encourage you to turn off the tv, put down the phone, and enjoy a book or two, or three with your child!

Please note that 2nd Trimester Report Cards will not be mailed home.

TK-5th Grade Report Cards will be available to view or print from your Parent Portal today (February 26th) at 5:00 pm. To view your child’s report card from home:

- log into Parent Portal

- click the GRADES tab

- click on STANDARDS BASED REPORT CARD.

Here's a handy Youtube tutorial to guide you: https://youtu.be/x5U6Hy4Tszc

If you have any questions, please feel free to call the school office during our regular office hours.

Have a wonderful weekend!
