Free July Events in Whitehall & Columbus

FREE LUNCH FOR KIDS Monday-Friday (Except July 4th) 11-12:30 at Kae Avenue and Whitehall Yearling High School

Splashpad at John Bishop Park - Tuesday - Sunday Noon-7pm

Market on the Green - Farmers Market every Tuesday from 4-7pm at the Kelley Green on the corner of Broad and Hamilton

Specific Dates:

July 3rd: Fireworks - 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Whitehall Yearling High School, shuttle from Beechwood, Etna or Kae, and New Life Church every 15 minutes from 5:30-10:30pm.

July 4th: 4th of July Parade - 10-11am

July 5th: Market on the Green - 4-7pm, Cooking demo

July 10th: Music in the Park: 6:30-8pm, Crooked highway, Classic Rock Music

July 12th: Market on the Green - 4-7pm, Experience Ohio and FedEx will bring kids activities and giveaways

July 16th: Creek Critters - 10-11:30am, Lower Level Whitehall Community Park

July 17th: Columbus Back-To-School Kidsfest- More information/register here-

July 19th: Market on the Green: 4-7, Kids Day! Columbus Zoo & Aquarium, Carter Kindness, Whitehall Branch Library, Bounce House, Face Painters

July 24th: Music in the Park, 6:30-8pm, John Henry and the Rainmakers, original and classic songs.

July 26th: Market on the Green - 4-7pm, COSI and Colony Cats pet rescue

July 30th: 11am-10pm, Food Truck & Fun Fest - On Yearling Road between Etna and Wright Park. Music Artist Headliner Chris Lane, other artist to be announced.

Summer Academy

Summer Academy is currently in session! The Summer Academy is in session until July 14th. There is no schooling on July 4th. Drop off time is at 8:30am. Pick up time is 11:40am.

Please use the parking lot between Kae and Rosemore if you are walking your child up. Please stay in your vehicle if you are using the drop off lane. Do not park in the front of the building during drop off or pick up times as that is where our buses will be loading and unloading.

If you need busing for your child or have questions please reach out to Lorna Russell at 614-417-5024. We currently do not have any extra spaces to add more children.
