Description:

Allowed 500 stations to broadcast on the radio and television. It is a government agency that regulates radio and other social communications.

Cause & Outcome of The Event:

Somebody needed to take charge of the broadcast on the radio and T.V. So, the government stepped in and took charge.

Importance:

If the government wouldn't have became in charge the radio and television could have been corrupt, disgusting and annoying to the American people.

Mass Media:

Description:

Means of communication that reach large audiences to entertain them.

Cause & Outcome of The Event:

The president needed to have a way to talk to the American people without them having to listen to the radio. So, they decided to broadcast his speeches on the television.

Importance:

It is important because, without mass media the U,S, would be behind other countries and we would be on the radio; waiting for the president to talk.
