March 2016 Minutes for Moms
Message from the President
In honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday this month, I was searching for quotes and came across this one. It is one I actually have never seen before and it doesn't have the usual rhythm and rhyme that Dr. Seuss is so well known for. I like this quote because there is so much truth to it. There are so many times throughout life that one moment, even if it was small, had such a lasting impact or perhaps even changed the course of our lives, even if we didn't realize it at the time. We may not have thought that certain moments were important at the time- we may have even taken certain times for granted until we reflected back on them only to realize how special they actually were. Since having kids I have tried to slow down and appreciate things more and even savor certain times. Everyone always tells me that kids grow up so fast, that time passes quickly and before you know it they are grown up. They tell me to enjoy even the little things. So I try to take this advice that I have heard from so many, and often times find myself watching them while they play or say something adorable and think about this advice, soaking in the moments. I try to savor all the moments - both big and small with my children: a trip to the zoo, playing tea party in a princess costume, carrying a favorite toy firetruck everywhere and finding seashells on the beach together. So enjoy the moments and make great memories. "Today is gone. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one. Every day, from here to there, funny things are everywhere." - Dr. Seuss

Snow appears white because snow is a bunch of individual ice crystals arranged together.
