In my classroom, we watched video segments in class with purpose. Many times, I directed the learning by asking a leading question which required students to look for something specific in the video. Similarly, I also paused the video to ask students how they would tackle an issue before continuing to see how it was handled in history.

This same strategy can help you teach while students are not physically in your classroom. Edpuzzle can help you direct learning through the use of their video editing tools.
