STAAR Pep Rally Information
Our 4th graders will take the STAAR writing test on Tuesday April 10th. In order to celebrate our students, we will have a pep rally at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9th to celebrate their hard work.
All classes may make signs, posters, banners, and/or pom poms. Our pep rally will be done in the same format as our character parade.
Seating:
Grades 1-3 will sit outside of their grade level pods with their signs and posters. Pre- K classes will sit outside of their pods and kinder classes will sit in the front hallway (the same as our character parade). Our 4th graders will make their way around the school twice as Pre K -3rd grade students cheer them on.
An announcement will be made when it is time to move to your areas.

Paws for Following Dismissal Expectations and Exiting the Cafeteria Line on a Level 0
Our focus for paws will be dismissal and exiting the cafeteria on a level 0 at this time.
Hopefully this schoolwide incentive will motivate our students to behave accordingly. As we know, Spring fever will be here soon, and we want to be proactive. I need staff to help promote “Paws for Pawsitive Behavior”. This is just reinforcing your classroom positive behavior incentives. Thanks for your cooperation and for all you do!!

If you have a student who has missed more than 3 days (consecutive or not), please call the parent and begin documenting your attempts to get the student to come to school each day. Keep in mind the flu season has been horrible this year. Please express your compassion to our parents and families. Ask for a doctors note to excuse the absence, if necessary.
