How Santa Got Stuck
At the North Pole, preparations for Christmas were going swimmingly. All of the toys and gifts, sitting tightly in the sleigh, were ready to be set under trees and opened by children. Prepared to fly in front of the sleigh were, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen, Santa's eight reindeer. There was one thing though that wasn't ready for Christmas. Santa's suit, which has so many tears and stains on it, was being repaired by Mrs. Clause. She washed the suit over and over, but the stains were too tough. Mrs. Clause would not have to work this hard if Santa had been more careful last Christmas Eve. Mrs. Clause finally got the stains out, for she used a stain remover she'd never seen before. What Mrs. Clause didn't know is that the "special" remover she had used was actually really sticky glue! Since the stains were on the outside, Santa put on the suit without even knowing. Before long, Santa was in the sleigh on his way to the first house.
"Ho! Ho! Ho!" Santa belted as he flew away. He arrived at the first house in no tine and shimmied down the chimney--- except he did't make it all the way down. The glue on the outside of his suit had stuck to the chimney.
Santa was stuck!
