A Message from the Principal
Lauren Meeks
April 26, 2019
Dear Parents,
The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. The morning and afternoon crossing guards have reported cars speeding through crosswalks as they are trying to safely cross the children to and from school. Please note that the speed limit before and after school is 20mph. We kindly ask that drivers pay close attention to their speed and NEVER enter a crosswalk when guards have a stop sign raised and are crossing children. We appreciate your attention and support!
Please don't forget to fill out the Parent Input Form for your CURRENT K-4th grade students. You can find the link here. In order for your input to be considered, please submit this form by Friday, May 3rd.
INCOMING KINDERGARTNERS!!! We would love any information you can give us regarding your child's learning style and needs. Please fill out the KINDER parent input form here!
Feel free to post these links to any grade level Facebook pages. Thank you for your input!
Have a great weekend!

We finished the Kindness Rocks project! You can see our rocks in the garden...they look amazing! Our kids did such a great job and put so much thought and effort into creating the perfect rock to represent "Kindness"! Way to go Mustangs!
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped to make this happen...you are all so appreciated!
April is National Poetry month so we will be taking some time to look at poets as well as various types of poems. Students will also be trying their hand at writing "pocket" poems. Likewise, research will be a focus this final 9 weeks with a focus on citation and credible resources. We will finish out the year looking at various genres and how to locate them in the library. May 17th will be the last day for check out, please help us get all of our books returned as we close out the school year.
