2015 Summer Reading Guide (Action Required)

This year’s guide features not only ES, MS and HS titles, it also includes Adult selections. Please promote the guide and OverDrive with students, staff members and parents.


Action Required: Link the 2015 Summer Reading Guide on your welcome page by May 14. See the Library Services Procedure Manual for directions.

Description: Join Holocaust survivor Paula Lebovics, students, and teachers to learn about the importance of remembrance and why the past is ever present today. Your students will explore the rich history of Jewish life in Poland before the Holocaust, visit authentic memorial sites, and discuss the consequences of hatred and intolerance.

Description: View President Obama’s discussion with students about his favorite books, how books have influenced his life, and the importance of technology in classrooms and libraries.

World Book Online- Individual Campus Subscriptions (ES)

Reminders & Updates

LibGuides Clean Up

Clean up procedures must be completed by May 14th. Absolutely no editing or creating LibGuides on Friday May 15th.


Sirsi Reminders (Repost)
All books for ES & MS will be due in Sirsi on May 19 and HS is May 22. Checkout should continue beyond this date for staff who need materials until the end of the school year. Use an override code to check out books.
