Schedule for Week 2

Our meeting locations have now been put up onto the website and will be updated each week. For now they are under the "Schedule" tab so make sure to check as this week has shifted a bit from the previous.

This week- August 19th thru 23rd.

6am and 9am classes-
Monday and Friday: Pilot Butte Park
Tuesday and Thursday: River Bend Park

5:30 p.m. class-
Monday-Pilot Butte
Tuesday and Thursday-Pilot Butte

Week 2. What are your Goals?

What is the definition of a Goal?
According to the Oxford Dictionary it is:
Goal: the object of a person’s ambition or effort; an aim or desired result.

What is your goal and what are you aiming for each day, each week or for this month?

Take a moment and write down your goal. Why you ask? Because it is proven that writing down your goal will:

"Will force you to clarify what you want,
will motivate you to take action,
will provide a filter for other opportunities,
will help you overcome resistance and
will enable you to see—and celebrate—your progress."

E-mail us your goal and take ownership for what you hope to accomplish this month. You can't win if you don't play so do it now. (Returning athletes: your assignment that was e-mail out last week can serve as this goal.)

Why is nutrition so important?

Lindsay and I are committed to supporting each of you and have attached the nutrition guidelines. The General Nutrition guidelines that were sent out last week are there to help you in the planning progress and provide you with a general plan of what your daily intake should look like. For most of you this is a review and although you may have read it before, how many of you actually implemented it enough to see a chance? Take a moment to ask yourself if your current nutrition could use some help or perhaps you are getting tired of the same old foods. As always if you would like to discuss more detailed information please let me know. As a reminder the following are available to you:

Measurements: Both via tape measure and Body Fat
General Nutrition guidelines
Personalized plans if you so request them
Accountability, advice and suggestions on MyFitness Pal-If you don't have an account and want to sign up (it is a FREE app) let me know. If you have an account please send me your username and I will add you to my list.
Before and after pictures
Personal goals and help in achieving them
Sampling, smoothie workshops, etc

Nutrition is75+% of what you will see as far as results. You truly are what you eat:)

Weekly Challenge

A new weekly challenge will begin tomorrow August 19th. The challenge will be announced at the end of class. The top 2 winners for each class will be awarded a special prize. The challenges are not mandatory although they are encouraged as this is a great supportive tool to help you reach your goals for the month.
