This week is Teacher Appreciation Week, where all across the nation, teachers are honored for the vital roles they play in our young people's lives.
At Baltimore City Public Schools, we are honoring our teachers all week. Join us in celebrating the teachers you know as well!

Board Safety Hearing
The School Board wants to hear from you. The School Board wants to listen and learn to better understand the root causes of violence and its impact on our students. The hearing will inform the future work of the Board. Hear presentations from City Schools and the Mayor's office.
When: Wednesday, May 17, 2023
Where: Booker T. Washington Middle School (1301 McCulloh St, Baltimore, MD 21217)
Time: 6 P.M.
You can sign up for public comment on May 17 between 5:45 and 6:30 p.m.
Members of the public will have 3 minutes each to speak.

City Schools is looking for more amazing educators! Do you know anyone who may be interested in working for City Schools?
Tell them to attend the upcoming Recruiting Fair on Wednesday, May 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Professional Development Center (2500 E. Northern Parkway). Applicants can be interviewed and hired on the spot! We're looking to hire classroom teachers, substitute teachers, paraeducators, school counselors, social workers, and more.
