Dear Winter Park Band families,
This week we're gearing up to kick off our spring performances, and the final performances for some of this year's ensembles.
Monday and Tuesday are big days for the Orchestra Winds & Percussion. Monday, 4/24, Park Philharmonic will perform at State Orchestra MPA and Tuesday, 4/25, all of the orchestras will perform on the Spring Orchestra Concert. We switch over to Band on Thursday, 4/27, with our SPRING BAND CONCERT at 7 PM in the Auditorium. As always, our concerts are free and open to the public. We hope to see you and all of your family and friends there to enjoy performances by Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Symphony. It's going to be a blast!
Congratulations to everyone who performed as part of Night on Broadway this past weekend. Wonderful job putting on such outstanding performances with challenging music - Brava!
The next Percussion Help Clinic will take place on Wednesday, April 26. These sessions are for all percussionists and students interested in playing percussion on either drumline or front ensemble for the 2023 SOTW. Sessions are on most Wednesdays from 6 - 8 PM. Attending these sessions will allow you to learn everything you need to know before Marching Percussion Placement Auditions on Wednesday, May 3 in the Band Room.
Lastly, don't forget to buy your dinner tickets to the Band Banquet by Monday, April 24! Tickets are now available on SchoolPay under the "BAND BANQUET DINNER TICKET." They can also be purchased through check or cash turned into the Band office.

Band Financial Obligations
Hello Band Parents and Students!
With the end of the school year right around the corner, it is more important than ever for you to log into CutTime to make sure all payment obligations have been met. You can also see your most recent financial statement by opening the "Your Cut Time Statement from Winter Park High School Band" email sent by Mr. Clemente on 3/31/23.
SENIORS! - Your account was asked to be paid in full by Friday, April 21st. If you have not yet paid off your balance, and have not communicated with the directors already, you will be receiving direct contact on Monday, April 24.
All other students must have their balances paid in full by Band Registration Night on Tuesday, May 9th.
When you log into your account, first check to see if you have any available credits. If so, please email me (kimrosesomers@gmail.com) and I will adjust your account accordingly.
If you still have an open balance, you can go to www.schoolpay.com, search the word “band” and all available obligations should be listed. You can then click on the corresponding item to pay off your balance.

Band Banquet - Friday, May 5
All students eat free at the Band Banquet. All other members of the student's family are invited to join us for the evening's festivities with purchase of a ticket. Tickets are $15.00 per person. Students do not need a ticket, only other members of the family attending the Banquet. Tickets are now available on SchoolPay under the "BAND BANQUET DINNER TICKET." They can also be purchased through check or cash turned into the Band office. Tickets for the Banquet must be purchased by Monday, April 24.
You may also join us only for the awards ceremony portion of the evening's event. Please plan to arrive at 7:15 PM for the awards portion. Remember, every student is receiving something for this year's hard work!

Hello everyone! My name is Keirren Lawson and I am this year’s Band President. As we draw closer and closer to the end of the year there’s an annual Band Banquet held around the end of the school year. Going along with this tradition, a slideshow is made to commemorate all of the accomplishments our students have had this year! So, I bring to you a shared photo album! New York Tour Mandatory Meeting 5/23
The New York Tour Mandatory Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 23 from 7 - 8 PM. This meeting will cover all essential information for the trip from the final itinerary to what to pack. Attendance at this meeting is mandatory for all student participants and chaperones. If a parent of a student participant is not chaperoning the trip, at least one of each student participant's parent/guardian must also be present. The meeting has been added to the Band's Cut Time calendar - please be sure it has been added to your family's as well.

- Make the $25 Registration Payment on either the below SchoolPay.com link or by check made out to WPHS Bands.
- Make the $80 Band Camp Meals (optional) payment on the below SchoolPay.com link or by check made out to WPHS Bands.

- If you are an incoming 9th grade family, be sure you are not logged in to your student's current SchoolPay account when making online payments. The "data flip" at the county level placing your student at WPHS will not happen until early August, and logging in will take you to their current middle school SchoolPay page.

- Complete the forms in the following 2023-2024 Band Registration Forms packet that applies to your student's main instrument and return the completed and signed forms at Band Registration Night on Tuesday, May 9.

To access Cut Time, follow these steps.
- Go to CutTime.net and click “SIGN IN” in the top right-hand corner.
- Enter your Username or Email and Password You are now on your profile, where you can access our calendar and handouts and files. Click “Update Info” tab to input or update contact information. Don’t forget to click “Update” when you are finished.
- Click the “Finances” tab to view financial statements.
