Students in the Gray Team worked with triple beam scales to calculate mass this week.
Hoops and Dreams
On the Orange Team, students explored their "Hoops and Dreams' for 5th grade.
Purple Team students learned about economics through a life simulation in Social Studies class this week.
Make a Plan
Greene School students wanted to help support a school in Guatemala. They decided to hold a bake sale and send the proceeds.
Promote the Cause
They students baked cookies and made a poster.
Change the World!
Students raised over $300 and sent it to Guatemala. Thank you to Eric, Sean, Ryan, Nick, and Garrett.
Make a Plan
Any student who finished the reading test on August 29 has a score in the system and will not need to re-test. Students who were in the middle of the test will be able to resume where they stopped.

Our 12th Annual Walk-A-Thon will take place during the school day on Thursday, September 27th, rain or shine. The Walk-A-Thon is an exciting opportunity for students to raise money to benefit our school, simply by enjoying a walk on the school track with their friends and teachers! Students will collect pledges from family members and friends in the weeks leading up to the Walk-A-Thon, with a promise to walk at least one mile as a thank you for their support. Students will have the chance to earn prizes based on the pledges that they collect, including gift cards, gift baskets, and more!
The Walk-A-Thon is one of our leading fundraisers, and all of the money collected goes directly back to our students and staff at EH Greene. Last year, the Walk-A-Thon raised over $25,000, and we would love to do that again!! Please consider supporting this great cause by sponsoring your child and seeking the support of those around you. Additional information and pledge envelopes will be coming home with students next week on September 13th.
Also we will be giving back to our local community by collecting GENTLY used adult and kid shoes(*no cleats or dance shoes*) to Cincinnati's Freestore FoodBank 'Back on Track' program. A shoe collection bin will be in entrance starting next week.

Champions Open House - September 20, 2018
We are so excited to announce our FIRST annual Champions Open House this year on Thursday, September 20, from 5:30-7pm in the cafeteria.
During this event we will share with you all the fun programming we do here in Champions. We have a curriculum based program with themes every two weeks, we hold an hour of homework time Monday-Thursday with homework assistance, and we also provide snacks.
We hold extracurricular activities as well for leadership opportunities and much more!!!!
