Gearing up for the big moooove!

We will be moving Pre-kindergarten over to their new location and we will be moving Kindergarten back to their home base, in the current Pre-kindergarten room on Friday, November 8. We are very excited for both classes to begin in their permanent homes on Monday, November 11! We are also looking forward to ASP moving to their new location in the addition on November 11.

New Arrival and Dismissal Guidelines for Pre-K and ASP

Monday, November 11th will be the first day of classes happening in our new space! This means some slight changes to our drop off and pick up of students for both our pre-k and our after school program.

Pre - K - Parents will continue to use the main front entrance for drop off and pick up of students and will proceed down the hallway to the new pre-k classroom. The main entrance of the new wing may be used for exiting only.

After School Program - Students will be picked up from the new after school space starting November 11th using the red exterior door under the overhang of the new wing.

Parking - The new parking lot may be used by parents for drop off and pick up only at this time. The paving isn't yet complete so please no longer term parking.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Big picture

Veterans Day Assembly

The VFW will be at BJAMS on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 8:05 am in honor of Veterans Day and the presentation of awards for the Patriot's Pen essay contest. The 6th-8th graders all participate in this essay contest that encourages young minds to examine America's history, along with their own experiences in modern American society. We hope you can join us in honoring our veterans and students.

Dedication and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

On Wednesday, November 13th we invite our BJAMS community to be a part of our dedication ceremony, official ribbon cutting, and blessing of our new early childhood and after school program. The ceremony will begin following our weekly 8:05 Mass. Please come join us for Mass and follow us out to the new wing to take part in this momentous occasion!

50/50 Raffle, benefiting our amazing 8th graders!

Our eighth graders are selling 50/50 raffle tickets before and after school until November 25th. Each ticket costs $1, or you can purchase 8 for $5! The grand drawing will be November 26 at morning assembly, so be sure to purchase your tickets, guaranteeing a big pot of cash for the winner. Proceeds will benefit the 8th grade trip to Boston in the spring.

Christmas Craft Fair Sign-Ups for Grades 6-8!

On October 24, each upper school family received an email from Mrs. Wilson regarding the upcoming Christmas Craft Fair, which is scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2019. The email explained that we will need donations for the kitchen and student and parent helpers the day before and the day of the event. Please click here for the shift sign up and please click here for the kitchen contributions. This is a major fundraiser for the upper school and would not be possible without your support! Thank you very much!
