Mayor's Clean Up day March 26
Mayor's Message
Autism Awareness Day is in April, which makes this a good time to remind our residents about the Take Me Home Program with the Willow Park Police Department. If you have a loved one with special needs, you can register them with the police department so if our officers encounter them away from their family and home, they have information about your family member and can ensure a safe, compassionate interaction and the return of the individual to their home.
To register your family member for the program, click here.
Easter is also in April, a time for us to remember the resurrection of Jesus and celebrate with our families. I hope you’re all able to take advantage of the wonderful spring sunshine and gather for egg hunting and Easter meals with each other.
The reminder of new beginnings and fresh starts is good guidance for us all as we continue to grow and develop as a city, where the growth brings opportunities for us all here in Willow Park. We will soon begin road reconstruction in several areas, our water line project will be completed this year, and the final steps to secure the wastewater treatment plant are in the works. There is much to be thankful for and the future is very promising.
I wish you all a very happy Easter this month.
