Distance Learning Survey: Give Us Your Feedback!!!

No Initial ELPAC Testing
Free & Reduced Lunch Applications- 100% Completion Needed
If you have not yet filled out the Free and Reduced Lunch Application, please do so before September 25, 2020 and email us the confirmation number once you have completed it to Ms. Ruiz at carmen@silveroakmontessori.org . Our school funding depends on 100% of our families filling out the form. Below you will find the links to the applications:

Senior Parent & Student Night
Ms. Rodriguez will be hosting via zoom Senior Night to discuss the college application process. It is mandatory that the parent/s and your senior student attend this meeting. We will offer two different sessions to accommodate both languages.

Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan
Distance Learning Behavioral Expectations
We ask that parents continue supporting their students in adhering to our distance learning classroom expectations. Your student will be removed from class if after warned they continue to:
- Logging in and out of class
- Inappropriate language & background noises
- Inappropriate background images
- Camera shut off
- Not showing face on camera or facing to the ceiling
- Unresponsive
- Failure to join out break out groups
- Sharing cameras
- Having conversations with others (at home) while lesson is happening
- Doing other things (ie; chatting, video games, texting etc)
- Laying in bed
- Falling asleep
These (and other unacceptable behaviors listed in the Family Handbook) are reasons for removal from the class for the reminder of that class period. Students who are removed from class will receive NO CREDIT for that day's work. In addition, parents will receive a phone call, informing them of these occurrences. A special Family Conference may be needed.
Free Food for Students During Distance Learning
Breakfast and lunch will be served as a drive-through or walk-up service between 11am-12pm, Monday through Friday at the following sites. Every child under 18 years of age will receive meals with no identification required.

If your student is in need of a replacement laptop or charger, please phone the office so that we can arrange a time for you to pick up the equipment.
WIFI AND CONNECTIVITY
If you are experiencing difficulty with home Wi-Fi access, please call the school office 510-370-3334 . You will be directed to the free services that are currently available.
Office Hours
We will be more than happy to assist students and parents through phone or zoom appointments as well.
As a reminder, while on campus you will be required to submit to a health screening, wear a mask and keep six (6) feet social distance at all times.
