Pauline Central Primary School

Jag-Wire Weekly Parent Update, September 12, 2022

Pauline Central is on a Mission! - Late Arrival and Attendance

One of our building goals this year is to improve our overall daily attendance, and we need your help. Our school day runs from 8:45 - 3:45 p.m. every day. Recently, we have had a high number of students arriving later than 8:45 and an equally high number of students leaving prior to dismissal.

While it may not seem significant, missing just a few minutes a day can affect your child's school performance. If possible, please schedule appointments outside of school hours in order to avoid your child missing important school minutes.

Lost & Found

With the recent fluctuation in temperatures, we have noticed several items appearing in our Lost and Found. We maintain a Lost and Found Cabinet near the music room. Students often wear a jacket to recess, but take it off when they get too hot. The jacket is then left on the playground and someone eventually brings it to the Lost & Found.

To avoid your child's items being lost or misplaced, please ensure that your child's name is written on the tag inside your child's belongings, especially, jackets, coats, and mittens.
