Scripture for Meditation

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Hebrews 12:1-2 (ESV)

Standardized Testing

At Classical Conversations Testing Services, we believe that standardized testing is an important part of preparing students for college entrance exams, whether your state mandates testing or not. We take a very pragmatic attitude towards testing: The test results are not as important as the skill of test-taking, though achievement tests do provide parents with reliable data for evaluating progress in language and math skills. Each year, we offer local, on-site testing for grades 3–12 through our communities. We are looking for a homeschool parent from this community to coordinate testing this year. For more details, and to apply, visit

We are looking for someone willing to step up to coordinate the testing for our community. for more details, please talk to Lynn Humphreys.

Parent Off Campus Policy

I want to remind everyone that a parent needs to be on campus with your children at all times. If a situation arises where you need to leave, another parent must be willing to act as guardian, I need to be informed and have a note in writing and signed by both parties. Please speak to me if you have any questions.

The Moore Family - update

Gideon continues to undergo treatments and Dr. appointments. Please keep praying! You can continue to contribute funds to Amy Lynn at any time. Thank you!

Help Needed for Morning Childcare

We could still use a regular second helper in the morning childcare. If you know of anyone who might be willing to help, please let Kristi Hart know.

I've set up an account at to start collecting photos for our yearbook and end of the year slide show. Go to this link and upload your photos from field trips, class or other events and activities. If anyone would like to take over the management of this, I would love to pass it along!
