Doyle Jog-a-thon
Our Jog-a-thon is off to a good start, thank you for your support! If you haven't done so, please take a minute to go to https://doylepta.org/jog-a-thon.html to register your child, watch our video and share their page with family and friends. Registration is FREE and all students that register will receive a prize and be entered into our drawings for 100+ prizes! Anyone that registers by 2/25 will be entered in a drawing for 4 museum tickets to one of 2 museums (San Diego Air & Space, San Diego Natural History).
This is our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year, so please consider donating and sharing with friends and family to spread our fundraising message world-wide! Translations, classroom leaderboard, and information on what we use Jog-a-thon funds for can be found here: https://doylepta.org/jog-a-thon.html.
CA Reads Recognition
Our annual reading program has concluded. All students who participated will be recognized during the February Super Star awards.
Parents are welcome to attend. The ceremonies will be:
- 1st Grade, Tuesday, February 21, 8:00 am
- UTK. Friday, February 24, 1:30 pm
- Kindergarten, Friday February 24, 8:00 am
- 2nd & 3rd Grades, Friday, February 24, 1:15 pm
- 4th & 5th Grades, Thursday, March 2, 1:30 pm
COVID Test Distribution Process
We no longer have onsite weekly COVID Testing. If you want to continue weekly testing, we have at-home tests that are free to you.
Distribution schedule: Every FRIDAY in front of the office
- 7:20 - 8:00 am
- 1:55 - 2:15 pm
Join the Doyle PTA Board for 23-24 School Year
The PTA will hold elections for next year's Executive Board at our meeting on March 14. All positions are up for election, and job descriptions are listed on the attached flyer. Anyone interested in joining the Board can submit their name to the nominating committee at doylepta.org/volunteer or by emailing info@doylepta.org.
Doyle Running & Walking Club
Join us for Running & Walking Club on Friday mornings, beginning at 7:20. Kids (and parents) are encouraged to run or walk around the blacktop before heading into school. It's a great way to get some exercise and get ready to learn. No sign up is needed - just come join in the fun!
