They are the second largest rainforest besides the amazon.there gov. cut down the rain forest to build houses ect. and 90% of the rainforest is cut down.the rainforest has four floors

THE PEOPLE
the tribe Baka adopted the language Bantu. They have also been around since the 8th century B.C. . The tribe has a spiritual force that has been named komba. They hunt and trade with other people and only a few people live in Congo or Gonbon
elephant
the elephant is the largest land animal and a baby elephant is three feet tall when born. And the grown up elephants put all the baby ones in the middle for safety

the driver ant is the only ant to travel in swarms and when they do the animals go running they will eat anything that gets in there path.

the okapi has a long neck and the face shoulders and some of his back and front legs are brown with short hair and its kind of oily and the bottom of its front legs and back are know to be called socks
