History of the Protests:
January 18,2011.
b. What were/are people protesting about?
One example is When President Zine el Abidine Ben Ali on December 17, 2010, resigned after fleeing to Saudi Arabia, ending 23 years in power.
c. How did the Government respond?
They stepped down by people resigning from working with the Government.
d. What has been the result?
The Government had lost members because of all the riots breaking out because some couldn't handle it anymore.
Today:
There is a democracy, but the government is changing, and people don't like it. The government feels strong in what there doing but the citizens do not improve.
b. Who is in charge of the Governemnt?
They have multiple parties for their democracy so they have more than one leader.
c. Will there be an election, if so when?
Yes, sometime at the end of 2014.
d. What key challenges does the country face today?
The Governemnt is changing things but not in a good way and the people aren't sure if it's worth keeping around.
