Emmanuel Baptist Church
November 1, 2022
Thank you for decorating your car trunks and welcoming people in our community last night for our Fall Festival! Thank you Pastor Roger and Bless Committee for organizing and preparing. Thank you to those who worked the concessions. Thank you to those who set-up and tore down. It was an enjoyable evening of friendship and fun!
At the Business Meeting Sunday night we voted to affirm the amended Constitution and By-Laws. Thank you Church Family for attending the meeting and engaging in the process. I know that Church Business Meetings are not entertaining, but they are an important part of our church life. They provide an orderly way for us to review our finances and provide accountability and affirmation to our Committees and Ministry Teams. I’m grateful that you participated! Plus 30 of us enjoyed ice cream at Braum’s afterwards which made the evening enjoyable!
Let me encourage you to use the weekly devotional to dive deeper into studying and understanding how to use the Lord’s Prayer as a springboard for your own praying each week. If you miss a week, you can pick up a copy of the devotional from the table in the back of the Worship Center or call the Church Office and we can email it to you.
Don’t forget to set your clocks back an hour this weekend!
It’s a joy to belong to the EBC Family,
