Tomorrow evening is our DSO Trip! All tickets have been passed out, we have held on to tickets for those students that are planning to ride the bus. The buses will depart from WILLOW SPRINGS MIDDLE SCHOOL at 5:45 p.m. Students should arrive no later than 5:30 p.m. Please be sure that they have eaten a good dinner since we are not providing food. Students are allowed to bring a bottle of water and snack for after the concert if they need it, they will just have to leave it on the bus because it is not allowed in the Meyerson.

Congratulations to Anthony Tang!! All State Violinist!
Daniel Xue and Andrew Chang did a phenomenal job and came within making the All State Orchestra by 20 spots. We are so proud of their commitment to learning this hard music and they have grown as musicians going through this process.
We are so very excited for Anthony Tang, who came out 67th overall in the State of Texas! He will be performing with the All State Philharmonic Orchestra at the TMEA Convention in San Antonio in February! Way to go Anthony!

Hello LHS Orchestra Family,
The online payment system for the Orchestra Spring Trip is finally available. I know that most everyone sent checks for the first payment, however you may still use the online system for future payments.
Below are the instructions on how to access it. It is a little clumsy since it is also attached to our Charms accounts.
Here is the Link:

When the link opens click on the Washington D.C. Orchestra Trip button.
In the next window (Charms parent/member/student area)
Enter lovejoyorch in the school code field.
In the next window enter your student's charms password. It should be their student ID ( unless you have changed it)
The next window ask for you to change your password, you do not have to change it. Click on the $ tap at the top of the window and it will take you to the Student Financial Statement window.
In the Student Financial Statement window you will click on the select trip drop down menu and select Washington DC. Click on make payment
In the next window you will enter the amount of the payment you wish to make and click on start payment.
