December 19th - Concert Practice at Mt. Ellis
Santa's Workshop ~ Volunteers are needed
Dear Parents,
We are looking for volunteers for Santa’s Workshop! We need help setting up the library on December 19th from 1-3 and helpers from 8-12 and 12-4 on December 20th. Santa’s workshop is a day where kids can buy gifts for family and friends, parents will help with shopping, wrapping, setup and takedown we have gifts ranging from $1-$10! Important Dates to Note
December 19 ~ LaMotte Holiday Program and Dessert Silent Auction @ 6:30 p.m. at the Mt. Ellis Academy Chapel (in the Administration building). Dress code for students is slacks for boys with a button down or dress shirt (tie optional). Girls can wear slacks and a dressy top or skirt/dress. Please no jeans.
Middle School Silent Dessert Auction Every year during the Winter Program, a dessert/silent auction is held to support the middle school’s yearly field trip. We appreciate any desserts or items that you would like to donate to help raise funds for their Montana History Trip in May. If you have any donated items, please feel free to drop them off at school or at Mt. Ellis before the program starts. Bidding will start before the concert at 6:00 and will end during the intermission. Please find Mr. Drake before the concert to get your bid number. If you have any questions, please e-mail or call Mr. Drake.
Middle school parents, please e-mail Mr. Drake if you are able to help set-up, take-down or collect money. Thanks again for supporting the LaMotte middle school!
December 20 ~ Santa’s Workshop sponsored by the Parent Group. Students can purchase gifts for immediate family members in prices ranging from $1 to $10. Parent group volunteers will assist with purchasing and will wrap gifts. Students should bring cash or a check made to the LaMotte School Foundation. If parents prefer to send a blank amount check please indicate on the memo line the spending limit per child or family. PLEASE send a note with your child if s/he is not going to purchase at Santa’s Workshop.

Little Bobcat Track
Little Bobcat Track ~ for grades 1-5. Sponsored and held at MSU this activity teaches young athletes the basics of track and field. The deadline to register is January 3, 2019, there are a limited number of openings available. It is first come first served!! Student Reminders
Please have students dress in layers and bring a jacket for the unpredictable fall weather.
Students are encouraged to have sunscreen in lockers to apply for outdoor PE and recess. Students should have at least one emergency lunch item in their locker.
