All Things Baker!
Principal's Message!
Thank you so much for all the love this last week! Between the sweets from the PTO and the fabulous cards and treats, we certainly felt loved for sure! UIL was also amazingly successful! The kiddos worked so hard and performed beautifully! Thank you to all the teachers and parents who supported our Baker kiddos!
I also wanted to take a moment and tell you how grateful I am for the support and kind notes I received this week either over email or hand-written. As we struggle a bit during this time of year, I am truly thankful as I remind myself that we are all driven by the same purpose, the success and growth of our kiddos! When we all agree on that, we can focus on what each and every child needs to achieve success and growth. I am so proud to be part of a group of educators and parents that understand and are all on the same page, reaching for the same goal, we are a TEAM!
I am so proud of our students and our staff as they continue to inspire me each and every day! Thank you all for your support and sharing your little people with us! Please remember, at Baker Elementary we believe In a World Where You Can Be Anything . . . Be Kind!
Sincerely,
Danielle Wallace

Lovepacs Information!
Dear Parent or Guardian,
During extended school breaks, families often need double the amount of food they typically use due to their students being home all day from school. Lovepacs works with area schools to provide families with additional food to cover their increased needs within their family by supplying food packs.
These food packs will include items such as bread, rice, pasta, peanut butter, jelly, snacks, canned vegetables, canned fruits and canned meats— enough to feed your child breakfast, lunch, and snack each day of the break.
Prior to Thanksgiving, winter, and spring breaks, Lovepacs will deliver food packs to the school of your choice or deliver them to your home for families that choose to participate.
More information on Lovepacs is available at http://www.lovepacs.org/prosper/
If you would like to receive a Lovepac, please click here to complete the online form by February 21, 2020 in order to participate for Spring Break. You will enter the password: Lunch in order to complete the form.
If you have questions, please contact Jeni Sexton at jeni.sexton@lovepacs.org.
